The purpose of Love Divine Outreach is to pread the good will of our Lord Jesus Christ to those who need it.
If you have received the blessing of God, then you should be a blessing to someone else. It is as simple as that. Here is an example of one of our outreach programs. It is about a teenage girl who lived in the Kingdom of Swaziland in Southern Africa. Our first contact with the teenage girl was through a documentary in 2005 called Orphaned by AIDS compiled by Carolyn Cole in the Los Angeles Times. The documentary talked about a fourteen year old girl whose parents died of AIDS complications and left her with the responsibility of taking care of four children with no money or resources in a rural African village. Compounding the problem is the fact that she is handicapped in one hand. The documentary explained that this young lady who was now seventeen years old, at the time of the documentary, and her siblings have been unable to attend school for three years because of lack of funds. Some days they went without one real meal. I knew we had to do something for these young children. By the grace of the Lord we were able to make contact with the Los Angeles Times staff writer who did the documentary, and she connected us to the teenage girl. Through the favor of the Lord we started to support these children. They went back to school. I am pleased to announce that the girl has now graduated from high school. She started a poultry farm to help support the rest of the children who are still in school. By the grace of the Lord, a lot has been done to improve the lives of these children but the work was not yet complete. Through our relationship with these children over the years, we came to know them to be highly motivated with the desire to be self sufficient. Our goal was never to provide for them for the rest of their lives. Rather, we wanted provide them with financial scholaarship for their education.
